with this Sub ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8359616&type=product&productCategoryId=cat03082&id=1177112903683 )

Speakers, yes.
Subs, no.

it will, but those are just shitty subs.
that amp will do 100x2 for the front stage, which is great for the alpines.
it will do 300x1 on the rear stage bridged, which is great for a lot of subs on the market.. itll actually be plenty for the duals... but they suck. seriously.

i am going the same way,for the pseakers, its ok...
and these alpine speakers are great, really good quality...
but please, dont put that kind of shitty subs with alpine speakers, youre going to regret it..
save some money and get yourself some alpines,or anything worth the money...
dual=low price=low quality=crappy sound...
you can get some good alpines for around 200$,that way you d be satisfied!
take a look there just for example...

Thanks,
which alpine subs would you guys recomend?
And Will the stock battery be able to handle the wattage fine or would you suggest an Optima battery??

any alpine subs, depends on your money, higher quality = more money=more power needed..
for myself i have a double voice coils 12" type R,i love it...
if you plan on adding an amp,a good thing would be to get a capacitor, like 1.0-2.0 farad, that would help your alternator and the battery,(keeps the dimming light away)but for sure an optima battery is the best,or a stinger, but $$$ for the stinger...(hear ya)

So would this battery be able to handle lots of power
( http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1333948/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046 )
And will the stock speaker wires be able to hndle 100rms or will they have to replaced with stronger gauge?
-thx

i d say go with the capacitor first, than you will see your needs for the battery, but dont get the stinger you show in the previous post, its way to big fo your car!!!
if you look on optima s site, they have a model that fits almost perfect, just a small bracket mod and your good,i dont remember the model number, but i use to have one,i ll try to find it for you...

woops, well i was considering getting either a battery or capacitor beacuse the running the subs may make the lithgts dim, and i just want to cause less stress on the battery.

Wow good info. I did not know a lot of that. I have a rockford power T2 series 12" in mine with a Rockford 3000 Watt Power sub amp. Way to much for these cars in my opinon. I had put the system together for my blazer that died and I have boston Acoustics all round.

Well my budget is only around 800ish.......................i dont want to spend a lot, so far i have bought alpine spr 17s, (130 ebay), rockford PEQ 30$, rockford fosgate T600-4 ( 390 ebay) looking at a tsunami 2 farad capacitor for (90 ebay) or maybe an optima battery for around 200ish.......................... and then looking to spend the rest on a sub and installation.
The sound deadening stuff i saw some Dynamat for 20$...........
i saw some of these ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-OK5KCQTgZgs/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=762&I=237XT652&search=sound+deadening ) maybe to protect the speaker i dont know if the speakers will be protected once they are replaces can you lend some insight on this - thx

just use the "previous page" and "next page" to dig in. Beware, there's lots of stuff in my folder!
Hi Fourth, i was reading your other thread where it followed your whole design/build process. Good to see you finished it! Looks awesome.
What kind of amp and sub are you using? How much output are they? Is it too loud? Thx
