Are you replacing the swaybar? If so, just cut them the endlink. That's what I did in the rear.

I don't plan on replacing the front and am still working on that end. To help me finish up, I plan on picking up a nut splitter:http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=6970&productId=34573&R=34573&cm_ven=TL&cm_cat=ERK&cm_pla=Google&cm_ite=handtool

heat them endlinks so that the plastic teflon shit will melt with a blow torch.. then hammmer them out of there sockets.. then take a pair of vise grips, one for the bolt and the other for the endlink part and unscrew them... careful, there hot. :)

Did that too and it's the easiest and fastest way.

I cut the endlink at the strut. I replaced my struts, so the top of the end link was getting tossed anyway. I then, just pulled on the endlink, holding near the cut for more torque, and the bottom part came slipped right off the ball.

The nut splitter worked fairly well. I ended up breaking the smaller of the two at my first attempt. I just put it on and tighened until I got through to the bolt, that's when the little one broke. I then rotated the nut and did the same thing, on the opposite side with the larger nut splitter. Afterwards, the nut and endlink ball fell out. Since there is a shoulder on the nut, I had to cut through that as well. In order to do so, I used a C-clamp to hold the tool in place, close to the sway bar, before cranking on the nut splitter.

For the fun of it, I tried the torch on the other side. The locking pliers kept slipping, so I just split the nut. IMHO, much easier. . . . and quieter.

I used my impact wrench to work the nut as loose as possible. Then I was able to use an allen key and wrench to get them the rest of the way off.
