I am curious about how many miles your 99-00 1.6's currently have and the running condition of your motors.
Mine has about 105,xxx and is running strong

148,000, running strong. Previously owned by an old lady, bought it in great condition. I've subsequently blown the motors mounts and broke off the manifold flange @ the cat. Been fixing stuff as it comes...but i drive too hard ;)

Got 116k. Had to replace struts and front rotors. In the process of tearing off my exhaust manifold and replacing it with the Thunder header.
Otherwise running very very tight!

yeah i also had to replace the struts, clutch, and get the exhaust re-welded...

116,500 miles - OEM/non modified.
Just had the drive belts replaced for the first time at 116,168 and soon needing either a Valve Gasket or Oil Pan Gasket replacement.

Well I have about 140,000 and my mom bought it brand new and gave it 2 me last feburary when I turned 16. Ive welded on a universal muffler and thats it. I need 2 replace the right strut its bad and its coming up on a timing belt change 2. Im the one who posted the startin troubles topic. If anyone knows something please feel free to help cause I need it.

78,000 miles or so, changes a lot every day. runs good and strong now after Heli-Coil fixing the spark plug hole, no smoke, compression is perfect as of march sure its the same now

My DX is hitting 110,000 she's a trooper, timing belt is knocking and loose, left fender is falling. and the hood is misaligned, just got her from the family, so i'd like to give it some T.L.C.
