7300 rpm.

Yeah, about there. Seems more like it cuts at about 7200, but you get the idea.

Its really not worth revving that high. The engine produces almost no power at that point, I believe the peak is back round 6000 or lower.

He's saying the power peak occurs at around 6K. The rev limiter cuts in a little after 7k. Why are you pushing past the redline anyway?

ah i get you now. and i was just finding out about it im not pushing it past the redline or atleast havent yet. because over here in puerto rico im visiting my family and in the car shows or car escorts they do they do all the over revving and stuff as part of it and all and i was just wondering where was it at that my car did it. because they all had told me but i came here to really be sure and be told by people that actually know..

Yeah the sport bike tools do that, too: hold the throttle full open in neutral and bounce it off the rev limiter so everyone can hear how cool they are. One of my co-workers was doing this with his Kaw in the parking lot and one of the exhaust valve seats let go. I laughed behind his back (dumbass!) A general rule of thumb is not to rev the engine past half of redline if it is in neutral.
