Ok guys newest problem I am having...
I have recently fixed my leaky transmission. It was dripping small amounts to the point where I was driving around with about 1 quart of fluid missing. I noticed while driving that if I took my foot of the gas while driving in the higher gears (4 and 5 mostly) I could hear what I thought was transmission noise while coasting. It sounded almost like the gears just moving and I thought maybe it was because I needed to fix the trans. Well after fixing the leak and adding gear oil I still hear the sound whenever I let off the gas in the higher gears. It is not the typical trans "whirring" you get when you have solid motor mounts. It is a hard sound to describe but like I said before I thought it sounds like gears rotating together without enough oil. Also when in neutral the sound goes away. It definately has the characteristics of something rotating.
Any ideas?
