Stebel Nautilus air horns.....install questions.

After crying when I heard my new MS3 horn go off...I decided that the stock horn will now reside in my office as a paperweight. I am placing order later tonite...just curious if any1 has mounted one alrdy in their MS3. If so....certain wiring required? bracket? Impressions? Thanks

Yup. Works well, great sound. You do have to fuss around with brackets to get it mounted somewhere. If you are going to do it right, you should add a relay, but some have done it without and I haven't heard of one burning up yet. If you add a relay, there is a handy place to hook up the power in the under-hood fuse box. You need a "midi" fuse and two M5 nuts.

MAJOR ISSUE WITH THE STEBEL NAUTILUS!



I had to take out a rental while my car is getting the #4 mount and bolt replaced, along with my hood and I now am driving a Kia P***** and when I locked the sucker, the horn made me cry. After becoming acustomed to my Stebel, anything else sounds weak, near death. So, be warned, once you put in the Stebel, nothing else will come close to giving that same satisfaction of when you lean on it to get some road-turd to move through the intersection.

Lol Irish. I'm thinking about getting one of these. I had an 'ahooga' horn on my last car, so I stuck that on my 3 until I could get a better horn than the stock one.

yah i love my horn
