View Full Version : Stock tires.....

Anybody have ONE stock tire that is in perfect working condition with little to no wear?? Or where to get them cheap... I am going to the dealer tomorrow to see if they will fix it since it was bulging out the side but who knows... so i may need another one.

just order a 215/45R-18 tyre from Tire Rack or something. Maybe the same tire you have now (see your tires so you know what you have). No biggy.

Well, ended up mazda fixed the tire for free because of the problems I have been having with it. So it is fixed. Thanks though!

the stock potenzas wear fast, definately will be replacing when their life span is over.

Ive driven the hell out of mine and they have been fine... I just cant believe how expensive they are! Plus nobody caries them around here except mazda. I could order them but i mean if I HAD to fix it there nowhere to be found

I got about 10K out of mine before winter arrived and I bought my P-Zero Nero M&S. They didn't have much left of them, and I don't consider myself a total leadfoot. That said, the P-Zeros look like they're not wearing much better. I've got about 12K on these and although they'll pretty easily take me through this coming winter, I doubt they'll get me through another. I'll probably get 20K out of them. Yipes!

I don't think I've ever gone through tires as fast as with this car. The two sets of Continental Extreme Sports I have put on the Forester (also AWD) last about 35K miles.

I had a nissan 200sx and i was getting new tires every 4 months. Lol.. I had my foot to the floor all day though.
