Mounts question.

Hey guys I just got my MS3 last weekend and I was reading about the mounts recall so I called my dealership and they looked up my car (using my last name) and they said it was already replaced. My car has a build date of 5/07. Anyone else here recently got their MS3 and asked about the mounts?

Call another dealership and ask them about it. Have them run your VIN to see if you car has been inspected. If it hasnt, never return to the first dealership you went to.

If it has been done, there will be a campaign label marked 4607F attached to the front edge of the hood or to the firewall. If it's there, you are good. If not, back to the dealer.

They are supposed to put the campaign sticker in when they do a recall. They did mine on tuesday and they put one in mine. I have also seen other cars have recalls and you can see the stickers on the firewall or near the hood latch.

Ill look again but I didnt see anything. I will check the fire wall and see.

What worries me is the tech was wierd and didnt care to talk much so I left him alone to do his job but I like being there and watching though I realize thy might not, lol.

I asked him about the old bolt and he said it was fine nothing wrong so I imagine with a new 10 grade bolt and put on by hand you cant go wrong so no more worries for me.

Nope dont have a sticker and I really dont feel like pulling all that shit out to check the bolt again, lol. I have had it out 3 times already before the recall due to being paranoid so at this point I will just trust that from what I saw him doing that it was done correctly.

It should say Campaign 4607F.

ok I don't see a sticker that says 4607F but I called a different dealer to verify using my VIN and he said it was already replaced. I hope they really did it.

I just read that if performed at the port before it made it to the dealer there will be a sticker but not if we bring it in for the fix.
