I have a 2005 Mazda 3i, it has the stock steel 15" rims. I just ordered some 18"s click here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Black-Wheel-5-Lug-Mazda-TL-Accord-xB-Avenger-CRV-Rim_W0QQitemZ250141337788QQihZ015QQcategoryZ43958Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Do I need to lower the car so it will look right? I am putting the rims on this week, so I was thinking of ordering these springs click here (http://www.raceinspired.com/pc-2399-21-eibach-sportline-lowering-spring-mazda-3-2004-2005.aspx). For about a 2" drop. Is that too much? I just want the car to look good but not excessive, and not have it rub. What effect does going from the stock 15's to 18's have on the car, and its height? Your thoughts?

Thanks
Tim

I think that if you are going up to 18" wheels then a 2" drop is too much. I would get the wheels on first and then see how much clearance you have. Just my 2 cents.
