I'm trying to see if there is any interest in a group buy on the Roadmagnet lowering springs for the Mazdaspeed3. For those that don't know, the Roadmagnets are one of the very few springs NOT taken from the Mazda3 parts bin and slapped onto a Mazdaspeed3 - they are designed SPECIFICALLY for the platform. I'm looking for 5 to 10 buyers and a significant discount would of course apply :D Maybe $199 shipped? Post here or PM me if interested.

How do they compare to the mazdaspeed springs for the mazdaspeed 3 as far as ride stiffness? Drop looks nice but is not as important to me. Looking for springs for auto-x plus daily drive.

I got the RM springs installed on my MS3 2 weeks ago. Ride quality is great, stiffer than stock, but not harsh at all. The drop is noticeable but not severe enough to cause any scraping issues–a problem I thought for sure I'd have. Any other questions, let me know.

i am told they ride very well for a performance spring while being stiffer in the corners than either the factory springs or the ones in the ms catalog
Whats the drop for the ms3?
a little more than an inch from stock

I really want these, but after reading another thread about blown shocks,im a little concerned.
Whats the likelyhood of the factory shocks not being up to the task of handling these springs for more then a short term ?
And are threre any suitable Shocks on the market that would work nicely in tandem with these springs?
Also as i posted in another thread with no feedback, how does a aftermarket exhaust(Corksport) that just clears the rear axle, impact on the vehicle being lowered another inch or so ??

There does seem to be people with blown stock struts. My car was used to test-fit the springs (still running on the prototypes actually) and I have not had an issue (3000+ miles since they lowered it). I know that any time you change the geometry of a cars suspension that you run the risk of putting abnormal wear on factory parts. This can be avoided by upgrading to a stiffer strut (I will go with koni adjustables eventually) and greatly improve the ride of the car. As for the exhaust, I cant speak from experience since I still have the stock exhaust, but im guessing as long as it uses the stock mounting positions and doesnt have too big of muffler/tip, you should be ok.
How long do we have to get in on the GB? I need to save up a little cash but would like to get these springs while they are cheap! Could you also throw in a protege garage sticker for my car? I already got the AWR mount and ms cai and love you all and would like to promote you on my ride :)
