okay heres the deal. about two months ago my friend was driving my car and ended up wrecking it into a guardrail. the front of the car was the only part that was damaged. i got the car back from the shop a few weeks ago, and ever since it has been making a clunking noise. i cannot tell you the exact place that the noise is coming from, because it really moves around. sometimes it will make a sound from the front of the car, other times it will make the sound from the middle of the car, pretty much underneath the front seats. the sound will happen when i go over dips, small bumps, around turns, etc, however it does not happen EVERY time i do those. tomorrow i finally have time to put it on a lift and try to figure out what is making it clunk.

i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions as to what i should look for when i have it lifted up. because the sound comes from random spots underneath the car, i am really confused as to what it could be...maybe loose exhaust? thanks for your help in advance, any advice would be appreciated!

Ummm, you should take it back to the shop and have them find it and fix it. Geico warranties a shop's work for the life of the vehicle, which I am going to test because the shop I took my car to when I lived in VA doesn't look very good.

Call up your insurance company and see what they say.
