Homelink/autodim mirror

I wanted to get the homelink mirror for my 06 speed 6. Does anyone know if the homelink mirror that you can get for the regular 6 work for the speed? The model number is, 0000-8C-407A. Thanks!!

You need a different mounting clip on the windshield (one from the Mazda 6 will work).

I have an '06 and dave is right, there are differences in the windshield mount. IIRC there are three different parts depending upon your build date. I bought my auto-dim mirror from onlinemazdaparts.com, Jason helped make sure I got the correct mount piece. Shoot him a PM or open a thread in their sponsor subforum, he'll need your VIN to make sure he gets you the proper parts.

Is it difficult to get the wiring to the mirror?

I bought mine for around $200 about a year ago and I love it. It freed up my center cubby from two remotes. Installation took no more than 30 minutes. Definitely a good price.
