sub goes in and out

hey guys i have the stock msp sub and everything and just yesterday as i was driving it stopped working than later on it started again. its been going in and out for 2 days now just randomly. any ideas on whats going on?

Is it stock?

When it goes out, if it stays off long enough, go take a look at the amps power light.
Knowing if its on or off will help with the diagnosis.
Most likely a connection at the amp (power, ground, remote, speaker) is loose or the speaker wire on the sub is.

where is the power light on the amp? also i was looking at it before when it wasn't working and than when i closed my trunk it started working again. . . any suggestions/

Loose wire.
light should be on the face of the amp.

so i called up mazda and found out i had about a week left on my warranty and since i couldn't figure out why my sub was going in and out for the life of me i decided to bring it in. well i got my car back today and mazda said my sub is blown. . . i asked why it goes in and out and they told me a blown sub will do that. is this tru? i've never heard this before
