Oh snap!

MSPs have A/C?

j/k

Probably just overworking the system. The A/C system in this car is garbage. I forgot I even have A/C, I never use it, even in 100 degrees.

That really makes very little sense. First you should check you refridgerant, then check to see if the fan comes on then check the compressor. That not really particualar to you car though. Those are just common faults.

The heat exchanger is more effective when there is a big diference in "Heat"

When you make the inside Cold... All that extra heat (There is A LOT) ends up under your hood, if it's hot the heat exchange cant get rid of the heat as well, so it stays hot in your car at the same time that you are superheating your engine..

Do some research for it, i believe there is a TSB out for it. It is somewhere on the forums, and a rather common problem with the A/c control unit. It has started to me....starts with 2 going out then 3 then 4, and all you are left with is 1.

I'm pretty sure it's the resistor pack that was mentoned earlier. Seen it happen on my girl's ford focus before too. The fan would only come on 1-3 with no a/c then on 4 the blower wouldn't work at all.

So was it the resistor pack? Mine is doing the same thing. I know it's getting colder now but I still would like to now how to fix it. Anybody?
