Try using the search feature. "Wastegate Install" yielded this thread: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123634567&highlight=wastegate+install

As far as I know the cheapest stock replacement is available at ************* for $59 plus shipping (http://***********************/mazdaspeed2.htm).
There's no 'direct' How To on the WGA actuator replacement. Some people pull their entire exhaust manifold and turbo off .. Some people, like me, manage to do it without pulling off much of anything. I think the key to it is the size of your hands. Me, being a small female -- I can fit my little hands into little places, so I got the actuator off just fine without removing anything.
You'll just have to dive into the engine bay and see what you can manage.

I think it's just a normal lil' e-clip, isn't it? Should be able to get one at any hardware store. Take if off, and if you break it in the process -- take the pieces with you to the hardware store and say, "I need another one of these." That's what I'd do, LOL.

Well today i tried to change the actuator out and i got the clip off without breaking but i couldnt get the rod to come off because i had no room to work with and didnt want to take off the turbo.Im getting my new P&P head installed on the 20th of this month so ill change it out then but thanks for the info.

i am convinced that there is no possible way to take the 2nd(back) nut off of the wga w/out taking the whole assembly off. if someone knows of a "special" secret super duper way to do this, please let me know, thanks

i did it on a friends car without removing the manifold or s-pipes....
i did it from under the car
i did it from under the car
I think that's the key. I did it the same way -- from underneath.
I should've taken a picture of the contraption that I had to put together to be able to get the nut loosened, though. I think I put an extension on an extension on an extension with a bend in one of 'em .. or something .. I dunno, I was just throwing crap together till I found something that reached and worked!

I'll be taking mine to the dealer to install it soon, I'll be sure to ask how he did it and was it easy.
