Corksport Downpipe with extra bung for wideband - $420.00 Shipped
Apexi N1 Turbo Muffler in Black Polish - $210.00 Shipped
I got the DP and the Muffler from Corksport...
Custom Pipes at a local shop installed cost me - $250.00 Cash, installed the DP, and the muffler all welded and bended!
I'll do some sound clips but it might be at the end of the week. I'm going out of town and will be back on Fri. All I can say is it sounds like a nasty STi on the throttle but regular driving you barely notice! It has no drone no nothing! Holy crap what a difference in torque too! Not to bash but I saved so much money going the custom route rather then some of the cat-backs offered...no cats, no resonators just straight pipe! I love it!

Yeah around $900.00 all said and done...I gave the guy a $50 tip for doing an awsome job! I'm not gonna lie the DP is a bitch to get out! But no I have a bolt in the hole for the Wideband for now...no CEL...I had one when I first drove around but I reset the battery and it's been 2 weeks since I've had one. The DP comes with 2 O2 holes and I had to pay $20 for the extra bung. The shop did mandrel bending...awsome job I have no complaints!

LOL, that's what i was thinking. I was preparing for the worse with that big can attached to it but on the highway it sounded respectable.

no offense, but I'm not a fan. If you like it though thats all that matters. For whats its worth my man, I dont see much bent pipe to begin with. Lots of bits and pieces welded together and from the pics you can see varying sizes of pipes as well. The ripples on one of the only "bent" pipes I found are usually from crush bending not mandrel. From there is looks like it changes sizes again. Again, not bashing, just I hope you know what you paid for.

I agree, just my opinion, but it looks like a hack job pieced together with little thought of smoooooth bends. best of luck!

Well thanks for the comments guys! Yeah I'm so happy with it! Oh and to the two guys above me...I appreciate the comments and you are right there is one crush bend...but the rest is pieced together because it was hard for him to fit the muffler in that small spot...also his welds are sick! it may not look like much but you should see the line down the street to get their cars done by this guy! He's 65 and he's done exhaust his whole life! On top of that I know what I paid for...a downpipe install, pipes, bending, welding, and 6 hours of labor! for $250 and to top it all off! that wasn't a set price...he asked me what I think he should charge me and I said how's 250 and he said sure.

sounds nice, looks rice
Thanks for the comment...but please...I'm over the rice thing! No offense, but grow up. Rice is taking a EX Civic and putting a can on it...if putting a muffler on a fully custom built exhaust from the turbo-back is rice then I like mine fried not white! Also, our cars are made and assembled in Japan...doesn't get any more Jap then that! On top of it...this is the same muffler used on Supras, Sti's, and Evo's...the list goes on, and sorry I don't consider them rice...not to snap on your one comment but, I'm just sick of that comment!

No offense taken, just my opinion. I think its prob the best sounding exhaust for the MS3 so far. My rice comment goes more towards the fitment. Looking from the outside it seems to not fit right (pipe seems to exit the rear of the car at an angle). I guess the pic hit a nerve cause I got cut off today by a mid 90s Integra with a potato shooter that was exiting the rear of the car at almost a 55 degree angle. I think a custom mandrel bent pipe would fix it, IMO, and make it both the best looking and sounding exhaust.
And FTR, my definition of rice has really nothing to do with Japan (although I realize thats where the term came from). A Pontiac Grand Prix, BMW can be rice as well if they use parts that fit poorly etc.

Cool thank you clarifying that...I didn't mean to snap at you earlier...I understand your definition of rice...it fits right though it's just because of the angle I took the picture on the lift. The guy even held it up before he welded it and asked how I wanted the fitment. If you look at the videos half of the tip is all that sticks out...I wanted the APEXI logo to be visible. Also thanks for the comment on the sound...the videos don't do it justice...it sounds so much better in person! I do think it's the nicest sound on our cars...I just think the CPE is too muscle sounding for an import tuner car. It sounds ok but just wasn't for me...sorry for making it sound like I flipped man!
