I rolled 10 grand on the odometer this morning on the way in.

Regrets: None

My stock tires still look great! I am surprised. I love driving this car. Much more so than my GTI it replaced. I wash it 2-3 times a week and am OCD over keeping it vacuumed and smelling fresh.

Also, I accidentally passed my wife in an accelerated fashion on the highway last night. I think there may have been a 30-35mph differential in speed. I got a finger waggin when she got home. She can't say much. I busted her doing 100 when I cycled through my GPS trip meter after she borrowed my car. It shows max speed and I had just cleared it.

2, 3 times a week? o_O

Yesterday was the 3rd time I washed my car, and I've had it since January. ^_^;;

I should be, but sometimes a laptop, test machine, and cabling is hard to keep from sliding off my gas tank.

Which company do they contract you out to? Wouldnt be Verizon Business would it?

I can't say. But no, it's strictly DOD

That would make sense. They took over a bunch of our field support positions when I worked for MCI/Verizon Business back in the day.

I've had mine about month and half and just made 700 miles today. I hope I don't get the miles up that fast - I need this thing to last!

I just moved office at work so I can start taking the subway again! Just over a mile from my appt to the station so I'll be putting only around 10 miles on a week if I'm not doing any extra driving :) Saves me around $40 a week in gas!!!!! Top it off with free Marta passes from work (yippy)

She was on her way to get pies.

Jbiiird, my commute is about 35 miles one way. Not bad as it's all open highway and country roads. I just like driving it.

Not to mention no more atlanta traffic. I never understood how 7 lanes of highway could be stopped until I visited that place.

i wash my car at least once a week, more if i have to drive it in the rain. i'm not really looking forward to winter driving in it... probably the only time i will regret not getting the subaru lol.

or if your car color is, "black mica" =P...i'm not complaining or anything, because its badass when its all clean and shinny, but it sure is a dust magnet.

I havent washed mine in 3 weeks but it is flawless.

Every day the rims are cleaned of brake dust then the car is speed detailed with meguiars and microfiber to rid the bugs and fall out so it wont bake in the sun the following day.

I am pretty OCD about it but the car is spotless inside and out. Using my air compressor inside the door jams and on the interior makes it pretty fast to get the daily dust out.

I also open the hood then put it in the garage so that engine heat can escape and not bake the underside of the hood and paint.

Doing this takes about 1hr a day when I get home but I dont have to touch it with water harldy ever unless there is water run off that is muddy and thrown up on it ect. Not to mention since it was waxed 3 weeks ago it still looks the same so my NXT wax stays looking nice alot longer.
