Genuine Mazda PCV Valve (B541-13-890A) for 2000 Protege LX 1.6L retails for $21, does this sound right?
A while back, I've read in here somewhere that people are spending only $2-$3, are we talking aftermarket?
I haven't use anything aftermarket for my Protege (currently 115,000 miles) so I ordered the part for $17 at a discounted rate.
What other methods are there to change this thing other than just cleaning the edges (w/ a paper towel?) on the grommet area before plugging in?
