whats up guys... there is a 2001 yellow MP3 (so the guy says) for sale very close to me... when i first saw it i had no doubt in my mind it was an MSP...but the guy says its not that MSPS were made in 2003 and 03.5, but the MP3's were 2001. i remember seeing an MP3 emblem on the passenger side door.
other then that the car is exact to the MSP. it looks identicle to the MSP... is this guy telling the truth? or is he spitting bullshit?

if this is true could you guys maby list some differences of the MSP and MP3

yeah the mp3 does exist. it only came in yellow and blue. these cars do not have a turbo like the msp. they look identical to the 2003 msp.

fock me man....really!? no twell i guess on the bright side it would not have as many headache problems as an MSP being it isnt turbo right?
cause that s what so many people talk about, heat soaking, turbo leaking bad wastegate actuator... this could be a good thing no?

that does suck though.... is it alot slower then the MSP? and does it have alot of potential to be fast if not faster then the MSP?

please i need this info asap so i can make my decision asap...

and as well as answering all of that and any other info you might want to throw in which would be greatly apprecited, tell me if this is a good deal.
the car is is MINT! condition! interior is MINt condition!; Yellow, no dents nothing. 61,000 miles $9,200 OBO

I'd pass. Unfortuneatly (for us MP3 & MSP owners) these cars don't hold their value very well. That's great news for anyone in the market for one though. They truly are outstanding cars and, as long as you don't plan on selling it, their inability to hold value is irrelevant.

If I were you, I'd either try to work that price down or keep searching. The one downside is they might be hard to find. Once you find one, however, you should be able to buy it for less.

My car (2003 MSP) has about the same mileage but is 2 years newer... and has the turbo along with a few other extras. Having tried (unsuccessfully) to sell my car (for around the same price) to everyone from private buyers to dealers, it's clear to me that you can get a better deal if you're willing to invest the time. Good luck.

an MP3 is a waste of money...a MSP is much faster...and 9200 for an MP3 is a rip off.
