LSD maybe?

well I think my diff finally broke but want some input. My car wants to go but when the clutch engages and load is put on the car it doesnt move it just revs out. I dont get the grinding noise that people have said they get when they broke theirs. If I jack up the car and turn one of the wheels the other tire turns the opposite direction and if I take a pry bar and wedge it so the tire wont move I cant turn the other wheel so I put in the spec stage 2h clutch and 8lb flywheel thinking it was that but its back together and still does the same thing. Could the diff be only half broken to where it works but not good enough to move the car? or could it be something else? it goes into all gears and wants tries to move but when the clutch engages will just rev so any ideas will be helpfull. Oh and it does make a clicking sound when I try to go

the grinding noise is a one time thing that happens right when it snaps. when you put the car in gear and let the clutch out all the way without giving it gas does it stall out or will it just sit there? If it just stays and wont stall when it should stall then it is the LSD.

T4 powered 'ey? Sounds like the LSD to me, mine made very little or no noise when it was broken. I had to have it towed home but was able to get it to move to a friends house a few miles away the net morning. Limped but it got there.

im thinking its ur LSD, unfortunately i just replaced mine after 39,xxx miles. Be aware the cost will bite u unless you do it yourself. about 2k with parts and labor. GL and let us know what happened when u know what happened.

wow thats a lot for an LSD...I got a welded protegegarage LSD (before they got that newer version that supposed is not as good...) and paid 200 to have it put in...i think i paid a total of 850 bucks to replace it and i have had a solid trans ever since.
