How the hell do you pause a CD with this thing?

Push the off button. When you push it on again, it will continue where it left off.

u hit it with a hammer right on the power button..works fine like that for me(headbang)

Actually, you can press the AUX or SAT buttons (assuming they are not functional in your setup) and the CD will pause. Hitting the CD button will then resume the disk.

i was just bitching today about the lack of a pause button, i'll have to try this tomorrow, thanks.

haha that's weird! I never noticed it before. There isn't a pause or stop button on the steering wheel? I don't remember.
I don't really have time to figit with the console in my city stop and go driving. Maybe after I master driving a standard....
