I finished installing the FSH9 J-spec intake camshaft in my 1.8L and suffice to say the results are already noticable even with light throttle, my question is what's the normal break in period for something like this? I was thinking approx 200miles (and then changing the oil at 500) and I've already logged about 330 with keeping the rpms under 4K, with mabye 3-4 exceptions.

Other than that getting it timmed right was an absolute nightmare, the total install process took a day and a half, also in part for the fact that two of the cam bearing cap bolts broke when I was torquing them up.

how has it affected your gas mileage?

how has it affected your gas mileage?
well yes, in the way that it's decreased it significantly since I've been playing with it so much. (wink)

it reduced my low end power by alot, I can't even bark my tires anymore, all the power is between 4-6.5K, there's defentally a difference there, I'm just not sure it's that great a mod for N/A applications, my 0-60second time remained the same because of the low end loss; 10seconds (it's an auto mind you)
