I know of a few Mazda Owners going to the race. Chime in if you will be present. Maybe we can meet in the Beer Garden for a cold one during the free tim Sat or Sun, or hang out at the MSB concert Sat Nite.

Also, post if you know of anything to watch for during the weekend: Drivers, Events, Autographs, etc...

BTW, I do not have my original exhaust, I sold it to a buddy of mine who had a P5, sorry.

Just trying to show the Ohio folks what we have avaialble to us, if they just choose to participate in events. I posted this event weeks ago, with no response.

I mean it only costs $5.00 for a ticket and I could have done the same for them as I do for any Mazda owners, I could have made arrrangements for the hot laps (ride along) a possible visit to the Mazda Suite, but as a community, we lack cohesiveness and a sense of community.

That is why we'll never be taken serious as a whole by Mazda Corp, like the Miata and Rotary owners who pretty much have carte blanch, I try, but I am only one man.

Well, thanks to those who have commited, I will make sure that you have a great time and that you have access that I will have to the drivers and the teams.

Marlon you are 100% right why we are not taken seriously. We always see hondas, acuras, neons, 350z's get together at shows and mazdas are maybe a hand full. Hope more people come out to the grand prix if not hope to see everyone next mazda meet.

Thanks to those who came out, we had some representation, and we got to show our cars and had a number of race fans, drivers and crews check out our rides.

We had access to everything, we got rides in the MX-5 cars and the Mazdaspeed 6 and Rx-8 Champ Pace cars. We had access to the Mazda Corporate Suite, free food and drinks.

Ohio members, you guys need to step up and represent, we have an excellent relationship with Mazdaspeed Motorsports, the Cleveland Grand Prix, Champ Cars and Cooper Tires as well.

The Grand Prix cost only $5.00 a day, to get in and we could have made arrangements to get your car into the event and be seen by thousands of people.

We need to come out in force, we can't continually have poor showings at events like this one. We have Mid-Ohio coming up next, it is going to cost money, nothing is ever free.

We as a community have the opportunity to show what we are as Mazda owners, we have the backing of Mazdaspeed Motorsports, Park Mazda of Wooster and a number of other sponsors.

We will have a charity raffle/auction, food, drink, parade laps on the Mid-Ohio road course, meet and greet with the Tri-Point, Tindol Motorsports & B-K Motorposrts as well.

We will have a Mazdaspeed hat & T-shirt for you , along with a custom made event shirt. So hopefull you will sign up and make this event bigger than last years!
