there is a ticking noise when i idle...i checked oil and see if it low nothing...i am a noob at mazdas at the moment...anyone have anything?
still under warrenty but just want to know the problem...

oh and it whistle when i building up the boost...is tha tnormal?

umm that whistle is the turbo...

Louder than normal whistle may be wastegate...still normal. The ticking is probably from the hydraulic lifters. Its not a big problem, its too bad that they "clog" and stop adjusting properly. Sometimes an oil change...particularly switching to different oils can help - I have heard a thousand remedies...everyone seems to have different luck. Not something to dwell on unless you need every last tiny bit of horsepower.
