I just noticed that you are starting to sell P&P heads so I had a few questions for ya.
http://mazda3online.web.aplus.net/product_info.php?products_id=1071
1: If I send in my own head will it be cheaper?
2: What do you usually charge for P&P heads if I sent one to you?
3: I noticed that you said if I sent a head in and it fails inspection you would
send it back, what would be some of the things that would make it fail
inspection?

read the screen :)
ur paying for the service. 500.00, if u want them to buy u a head its 600.00 more. for the 3rd i would assume if its unable to be machined to a clean deck surface (removed from prior decking), or cracked, or being warped.

Sweet! thanks terbow, BTW like the new avatar. lol Thats one tallented dog, now if he could only reach the pedals! lol
Another question: Do you P&P these by hand or do you use the P&P machines? I would assume you would use the machines but just cerious

I'm new to learning about head work.
I'm buying a complete head with all OEM valve train components.
I have the twiggy cams.
I would like to compare prices between a few options. I just want to know what I am comparing, comprende?
How specific a breakdown can be provided of the work to be performed?
For example, my local guy mentioned radiusing the valve seats and maybe bowl work. Is this already part of the "package" or would specifying this type of requested work be available for an extra charge?
