i was really tired today. when i park my car i leave it in 1st and with the handbrake up. got in the car today, put the handbrake down, held the clutch in and started the car and let go of the clutch. the car jerked forward but i clutched back in. the car didnt stall.

it shouldnt be toooooooo bad rite???? (boom07)

is this a joke? You had it in gear and let off the clutch w/ out giving it gas...why wouldnt it jerk? And the only reason it didnt stall is because you pushed the clutch back in before it stalled...

nah man, thats normal. engaging the clutch puts it in a neutral state so it doesn't stall. you can leave your car in any gear with the e-brake on. it won't hurt anything.
