My new 3

I got my new Mazda 3i touring and I officially am off vw's and on mazdas. I had spent 3 years and a lot of $ trying to build my vw motor up, and I thought I had the car I wanted (bhp, handling, looks...etc) Then I got my 3 and it is everything my vw was trying to be! I look forward to being part of the mazda community.

welcome to mazdaforums! I take great pleasure in seeing VW owners switch to mazda since most of my car friends belong to a group called "del-dubs," i always make sure to tell them every time i see a defection! haha

ha ha, funny but its not, although I am very satisfied with the feel of the motor, I was wondering what i could do to get the most out of it. Also, cna i put the suspension from a ms3 on a 3i? I think she could benefit from a 1 3/4 to 2 inch drop.

concrats man , but why didn;t you go with the mazdaspeed3 over 100 more horses and 120ft pounds of torque the turbo rips its awsome, and it only a couple of thousand more!

the turbo engine comes with forged internals from the factory (super strong engine) even the drive shafts are heat treated for stregth, triple h frame contruction, its a lot more car of just a little more money, the regualr 3 is great , you all ready bought it not trying to be an ass

Thanks, I know the specs of the ms3, the 3i has the triple h frame construction as well. But getting the most out of an existing engine and suspension doesn't mean I am trying to make my car something its not. If I wanted a 210+ motor, I would get an all wheel or rear wheel drive car anyway.
