Miata rims on MP5

Have searched the threads and can't find my answer. Have 2002 MP5 no mods, not lowered. Have 4 new Pirelli Pzero Nero 205/45-16. Rims are hosed; serious curb rash. One is bent. Anyway, I can get a set of 2006 Miata rims cheap ... really cheap but need to know if they will fit or not without rubbing. Do haul extra passengers from time to time so there will be a load on the rear axle.

The Miata rims are 16x6.5, offset 55, 5 on 114.3 lug

So, Yes or No. Remember, cheap ...

Yes, it'll work. If there's enough thread on the lugs, 10 or 15mm spacers will push the rims out a little more, making the look nicer. Post pics when you get them on! :)

perfect fit. go for it. only different between your current rims and the miata's are the width of the wheel.

Offset for the P5 is 50mm. Should work. I would make sure it clears the calipers since it will sit 5mm more inboard.
