Timing Belt???

ok the new timing belt is on and everything is set and all now i push on the belt between the cam gears and its not like completely solid tight..like i can push it a little bit but not much..is that how its suppose to be or is it suppose to be solid tight??

that may be your problem then. Also, check to see if the teeth on the respective gears are lined up properly, because one tooth off can produce the same result you are seeing...

yea the teeth are all lined up..im just gonna have to get a spring..god damnit we put it all back together last night too lol..
