my exhaust has been sounding really shitty lately. I havnt taken the time to see why I just figured it was a broken j-pipe again. after looking at it one of the hangers ripped off the cat back section. I looked at all the welds on it and they were all starting to rust. I am so pissed. I thought stainless would last alot longer than aluminized. I just hope they offer a warranty. I looked on thier site and didnt notice that they offered one. I also have to take off the cold pipe on my perrin fmic to move or cut some of the pipeing off. I used to really like perrin. the only thing that worked reallt well so far is the fuel rail. but that is fairly new

how many miles have you had it on? also have you installed stiffer MM's? jw cause that might of stopped the j-pipe from breaking and helped the hanger from being ripped off.

I have street unit motor mounts and urethanehangers. the pipe hasnt broken since I replaced my motor mounts. it just looks like all of the welds are rusting. every one of them. I will post some pics tomorrow

mine did the same thing..the far rear brackets broke right off the muffler and pipe. i had it on for like a year and a half. with just kartboy hangers and the front motor mount not the rear so i think thats what caused it. i just took it off and had a shop weld it back on only cost like $20

that's kind of disappointing I would of thought a company like perrin would have quality stuff, especially for the price.

briggs were all the welds rusting out? I wonder if they used the right kind of welder on the welds. I didnt think it should rust like it did

well its showing signs of surface rust on the muffler..but not on the welds it was just the setup i had without the rear mount that did me in. and probably the potholes in philly too.
