I think I'm having a little buyer's remorse about not grabbing the black cherry. I am happy with the black one that I got but, I was just at the stealership this weekend and damn does that color look good!

Hi,i'm new to the forum and new to the CX-7. We've had our BCM CX-7 for a month now and my wife and i are loving it,i wasn't sure i wanted another SUV-type car,but after driving it,i was sold. This thing flies,and it's been a long time since i've had a car get so many comments and compliments,i'm having people stop me in parking lots to ask me about it. We had a E46 BMW,a Miata and a Mustang before,and neither got as much attention as this Mazda.
The car itself is rare in my town,i've only spotted one other on the road,but how rare is this color??

My first choice was a Black Cherry they had at the lot, but I couldn't stand the interior color (was looking at cloth.) It's too bad because the exterior looks sharp, but I disliked the interior so much I couldn't get past it and went with something else.

I looked at the BCM, but I had to get blue, my favorite color. I was too impatient to get an "electric" blue in my past 3 mazdas (pro5, RX-8, and a tribute) so I HAD to have it!!

But BCM is nice and it would be my second choice. :)

Absolutely! (wiggle)

My Mazda dealer GSM said that Black Cherry Mica was hot in the CX7 AND even hotter in the Speed 6, but that the factory (or marketing) boys didn't make many of that color available in any model. He said they get BCM at about a 1 to 10 ratio of the other colors, and hardly ever have one sit on the lot more than a few days.

Sales BS? I dunno, but when we bought ours, it was the only BCM CX-7 (out of about 40). In fact, it was the only BCM Mazda at the dealership, period.

Anyway... we love it!

huh? same goes for you too bro, good post 1.5 weeks later. i wasnt knocking the people who bought it, christ i bought it in BCM, its just tough to keep clean...didnt know that was such a horrible thing to say lol

Just bought a Black Cherry last week! Fell in love with the color when I saw it on the showroom floor. It's being trucked to the stealer with delivery currently scheduled for 7/6..
