will there still be gains if you just get the SMIC as opposed to getting both that and hardpipes?

I've heard that you get most gains when you have the hardpipes but I just don't see why, expecially at stock boost.

i'm running the IC with stock piping, and i'm very pleased with it.

I have had mine for a year now on stock pipes, love it.

I just upgraded to a Samco hotpipe on the weekend for peace of mind.

It's also a nice piece.

I've had mine on for a few years. Money well spent with or without upgraded pipes. You'll feel the difference in torque on your first spirited takeoff when you install it.

Yeah, I happened to notice a little power throughout the powerband. And plus, I relocated the MAF and power is way smoother. I need to get an MBC so I can turn up the boost a little.

there arent any gains with hardpipes. UNLESS you are boosting insane psi or the stock pipes are cracked and leaking.

Yeah thats what I figured but other people posted otherwise awhile ago. The stock pipes were pressure tested and are way good for stock boostage

I dont see how anybody still has stock pipes. I barely leaned on my Hot Pipe and broke the stupid bypass nipple off.
