Rattle w/ GReddy SP2

Threw on the GReddy SP2 catback late this last week. It was mated up to my 2.5" Apex catted midpipe.

Initially, there was an issue with a horrible sound coming from near the midpipe. I assumed it was something hitting the heatshield, and it was. After adjusting the heatshield so that the resonator and piping of the catback didn't heat, I thought I was free and clear.

Since, I've heard a rattle from the rear section fo the car, somewhere around the muffler, I assume.

Anyone else have an issue like this? I'm running the stock hangers, so I'm hoping that when the Kartboy hangers come in, the problem will be fixed.

Any advice?

Getting a set of KB hangers should help. I run the same set up as you minus the cat, and have the hangers. The KB's are much stiffer and do a better job.

It doesn't sound awful, but it's rather annoying.

If only those Karboys would get here quicker ..

I have an Essential Speed midpipe with the SP2 catback.

I added 2 KB hangers (the front 2) and have no rattles at all.

Did you have a rattle before putting in the new hangers? Do you recommend replacing the front 2 or the back 2?

Currently, there's a significant rattle from the back right at the muffler, so my first thought was the back 2.

I had a rattle with my Corksport.
Adding the front 2 solved it.

Just changing the front 2 tightens up the whole thing significantly.

I have no rattles now.
