so can this [17X7 5-100/114 42SM] fit on an msp with no problem? sorry i dont kno anything about wheel size..

Well 17x7 is the diameter and width of the rim respectively.
5-114 is the bolt pattern. (5-100 won't fit the car.. i think Toyota uses this size...)
the +42mm (is what i am assuming your 42SM to mean) is the offset. Stock, the car is +50 or 55 (mine is 52.5 or something like that... whatever.) +42mm will mount the wheel ~ 10mm further out (the wheel will stick out 10mm more than it does now). The Higher the Offset number, the further in the wheel goes .
