This thread has information specific to the MSP, which is different from the method for the regular protege:

Searching would be nice....but heres a quick review.
1) Pour however many ounces you want to throw in your vac line inside a cup.
Disconnect the hose leading from your Brake Booster to your Intake Manifold. It should be the largest hose on the booster. Remove the brake booster side and stick the hose inside the cup. Crank the car up and it'll suck the Seafoam into the vac line. Reconnect into the brake booster and your basically done. Start your car and try to hold its idle for the first few seconds by giving it some gas.....
Then drive around till you see no more smoke.

The line is the large hose going to the left side of the brake master cylinder.
Be careful slicing the line at there's a one-way valve about 3" away from where the hose connects.

I thought break booster was not recommended with an MSP. It's in that thread I linked.

ok so from what ive read
1.disconnect booster line
2. rev car to 2500 to 3000
3. suck seafoam into booster line
4. shut car off for 5 to 10 m mins and reconnect booster line
5. start car let idle for a few mins
6. drive it for a little while
7. park and disconnect both battery termnials
8. pumb brakes????
I GUESS THIS IS DONE FOR DISCONNECTING BOOSTER LINE.....RIGHT???
9. touch terminals together....WHY IS THIS...WOULDNT IT CAUSE SPARKS
10. connect terminals to battery

The hose that runs into the big, round, black in color thing....thats located behind your car battery. No need to rev. Once you have the line in the cup, u just need to start your car for maybe 2 seconds then immediately shut it off. It'll suck up all the seafoam.....then just reconnect and start your car, while trying to keep it on....it may want to shut off.

People are just trying to get every last bit of power out of the ECU, you don't need to do that. Just disconnect it and pump the brakes a few times, then after a min or so connect everyting and let it idle for a few minutes to let it relearn.

Seafoam works best when you slowly pour it directly into the hose that feeds the manifold on both sides, that is attached to the PCV. Why are you sourcing a hose so far away from the target? And pouring it in slowly over a few minutes is more effective than letting the vacuum source suck it in quickly. Absolutely ZERO need to clear the PCM when you do this.
Use 1/3 of the can in the port and put the rest in your gas tank. Try it works.
