just buy the hard pipes from where ever and pay the extra money to have them powdercoated... i'm sure you can find a place local that'd do it for relatively cheap.

SLS has black pipes, but their cold pipe isn't ready yet. Protege garage has a group buy offer on polished weapon r pipes that you could powdercoat.

there has to be someone on the boards who has had something powdercoated. just in terms of finding a good shop to get it done ...
i'd maybe think about not just powdercoated, but doing a thermal coating (and just choose a black finish on it). the upper pipe would definitely benefit from it.

paint it? i dunno if that would look good or not... maybe with a high-temp gloss over it. Black pipes would be hawt secks tho.

Intercooler pipes would probably be ok in gloss powdercoat depending on routing in relation to the turbo/manifold/downpipe.
If you want ceramic, Performance Coatings has a black ceramic and high temp clearcoat, too.
You can hit them up for a sample; may cost $20 or something 'cause of the doublecoating.

You could have joined the Jet Hot GB i had going on......they have a glossy black finish coating. The GB price was like $17 per foot for colored coats. The regular price shouldnt be too much higher, or not too expensive for 3 or 4 feet of coating.
