MTMA Cheesesteak Meet June ??, 2007

Lets have a Cheesesteak/Dave and Busters meet sometime in June. Im thinking the 23rd or 30th to give people plenty of time to get off of work.

What days would work best for people? Im open to both days.

I figure we can start in late afternoon (around 5pm), get some cheesesteaks somewhere with a parking lot that could accomidate us, then we could head to Dave and Busters to end the night.


If you have any other ideas for meets that would work better, then lets hear them. I was just using this as an idea, we can change the theme of the meet. Lets just have one.

I liked the place we ate at last time we did one, the parking lot right there was key. Famous something...famous Dave's? Here is the location from last time (thanks Sean).

To Saint Josephs University Parking Lot: (54th and City Ave, Philadelphia, PA)

From New Jersey/Bucks County/EastPA
NJ Turnpike South to Exit 6A for Penn Turnpike. Take Penn turnpike West to Route 476 south. 476 south to route 76 east (schuykill expressway). Get off at Belmont ave exit, take a right off of exit ramp onto belmont ave. Take belmont ave all the way up the hill to city line ave (route 1). Take a right on city ave, and follow to St Josephs university. Take a left onto 54th street at the large brown apartment complex on your left. Parking lot is first driveway on your right with two hawk statues on the gates.

From Western PA
PA Turnpike East to 76 East, follow directions from 76, same as above."


Then we could caravan to D&B.

A few mentioned sunday due to work on saturdays, and it would work better for me as well. The only thing, is work then on Monday morning too.

Why dont we come up with a few dates, Lets say the two you picked, plus that weeekends respective Sunday and make a poll. Whatever gets the most votes, we do it then...

There's a place 1 mile up the road from Larry's near Overbrook Train Station. Its called Overbrook Pizza (what a clever name right?). They season their cheesesteaks and I like them alot. Only problem is the parking lot isnt anywhere near as big as the Saint Joe's lot.
