View Full Version : POLL: Which color should I paint my wheels?

Ok, well I finally got some 5 lug wheels, they are 2002.5-2003 ES/P5 wheels, they are currently painted black and chipping, so they will need to be repainted.
I was intially thinking bronze, but I dont know. I have a Laser Mica Blue, with the MP3 body kit.

Here are my choices:

HWP101 Silver
HWP102 Graphite
HWP104 Satin Black
HWP105 Bronze

And and I will be putting on a clearcoat.

You can never go wrong with silver... I'd stick with that.

Some have had good luck with painting their wheels and looks good. Also it is affordable for me.

Well the wheel is the stock ES/P5 straight spoke wheel, at the top, I am just trying to choose a color to repaint them.

Don't do the satin black. My rims were flat black 5-zigens and it looks like you are running on steelies with snow tires. I ended up painting my rims gloss black.

I have searching the forums and have seen some flat blacks, they seem cool at first, but collect dust much more than gloss applications.
