when i broke my rear differentials front case mount, the dealership had me keep driving it until they had time to look at it(1 week).. and my TCS/DSC light would sometimes come on and stay on after some wheel spinnage. then i'd either have to turn the car off, or drive in reverse for about 20 feet and it would go off.
is it the check engine light for sure? or is it the TCS/DSC light?

Anyway, why not take it to the dealership? You kind of have to still be under warranty, let them sort it out.

I bet the scanner isn't CAN-capable. That's why it can't pull the DTC.

you guys are all f!@#s, where is the love? he asked a legitimate question...although containing poor grammar, it is a question nonetheless.
so instead of trying to teach a mo-fo spelling class, try answering him instead of posting useless replies.
[B]if the scanner doesn't pull up any real codes, then i'd assume their is no real problem. and you should unhook your cars battery for a few minutes, then hook it back up. see if it continues to turn on after that...

Easy tiger...easy. I am no "Fuck" and calling people names in open forum is against the rules..so my thinking is you need to tone it back a bit.

Wow. That answer couldn't be more wrong. If a CEL is on, there's always a DTC stored. The reason why he couldn't pull it is probably because his OBD-II scanner is not CAN-capable. You just told him to ignore a CEL that could be potentially be very important issue.
Off to my ignore list you go...

and i didn't tell him to ignore it..i told him to try something and see if that changed anything. if not then i would encourage him to keep trying to figure it out
