Yes you can access the bulb. You have to take part of the wheel well liner off on either side.You can access the bulb that way.(doh)

In the manual it says that the side marker can only be replaced as an assembly. Can't change the bulb!

Looks like all of the sidemarkers are universal. I went with tinted LED sidemarkers on ebay. They look a whole lot better than the white sperm globs.

the man is right, you can't replace the bulb. and all you have to do to remove the side marker assembly is pop it out of place. i guess you could replace it if you cut the assembly open with a heat knife and soldered a new one in its place... hahaha.
