So I went in for a tire rotation at Sears and noticed that I lost my wheel lock key. Sears told me they could replace them with regular ones 6$ a piece. I called a Mazda dealer they told me that I could order a new key if I have the serial number for the key. And you guessed it, I don't have the serial number for the key :( . My be some one in here has matching lug nuts, that i can get the key's serial number from to order a key. I'm not sure what to do at this point.
Any Ideas?
Here are some pics of the lugs:

Yeah that's what I thought too but they said they can't tell by the VIN. Only by the key lug number.
Thanks for the help though (drinks)

Well It was suppose to be a little card that is kept with the car manual...and you guessed it mine didn't have a manual. I tried 2 dealer ships the first said they need the serial key and the second said I need to replace them all together.
PS. @ moderator: this the right forum for my problem?

Well if you can't find a dealer to do it just break it off yourself or have a mechanic do it. Then you will just have to replace a stud worst case senario, and those are only a couple bucks at any auto parts stores and studs are pretty easy to replace. I did one myself when one of my lugs seezed to the stud. Remove lug nuts, take off tire, take off break rotor(you will have to remove the bolts on the caliper as well and remove the caliper), then just pound the stud out with a hammer(one of the only times you should use a hammer on a car lol), push the new one in as far as you can and then let the lug nut pull it the rest of the way in as you tighten it on the stud.

Yeah, it's fine here, but I think it'd be more appropriate (for future informational purposes) in the Wheels / tires / suspension forum. I'll bounce it over.
This is just for a rotation, so you can go a good while, you're not in any trouble. Here's what I'd do:
Go to ebay. Buy the 25 lug Gorilla lug nut set with a key (I've got 'em on both cars). Once they come in, have sears bust off the old ones, and replace the whole shebang with the new set. These will work well later on too if you decide to go with aftermarket wheels that require skinnier lug nuts (had that problem on the Miata wheels).

I think i ll just let sears replace them with regular ones, or did anyone got their stock rims stolen? sounds really ghetto to me :D ... . And once I get my 24" chrome spinners I'll get new locks (bling).
This forum is awesome! (nana)
