Whao, sexy. What suspension are you on? Or is that a secret haha.
Ooopps, sorry I forgot to mention. It's just a regular mazda3 eibach sportline.
Sick P5 btw. I never got a chance to work on mine. I spend it all to my 323 :) and now onto my new toy :)
Thanks!
Thanks dude, any plans for rims? I think it looks nice as is right now.
I didn't really like the rims before. I actually hated how it looks but after installing the springs on Saturday. 99% of the people that saw it in person told me to keep the rims. I guess I'll just use the money for IC :)

very nice, I live dropped MS3s.
I agree with the rims, once the car is lowered, the rims look pretty good on the car.

Those springs really make it look "hunkered down" and ready for some high speed runs...Nice stance! (2thumbs)

Your car looks great, but I could never go with a Eibach Sportline kit in my neck of the woods. I have in the past and once they settle another .5" - .75" your going to be mowing the roads. For your sake I hope your roads are nice. You stated they are regular 3 springs, to my understanding the Speed3's are different. Also your taking a risk with those springs if there made for a regular 3; the load rate will be different to say the least. I wish you well.
Thanks guys!
yeah, Equinox! I like your car color too ;)

Actually this is more like trial and error. I could not wait for the springs to come out and wanted to see how the Eibach m3 would work. If you look at the Eibach site. The ms6 and the mazda 6 uses the same springs even if they have totally different weight.
The car is pretty low and I want to try the pro-kit or sprint aswell. We'll see :)

wow, i didnt know speed3's could go any lower than mine (roadmagnets lowered mine 1.1"). Im hoping that the 1.8" lowered is from the regular 3 height not the speed3 height. 1.8" would be practicly on the ground from the speed3 stock height.

Yeah, well here's what my observation is. Since the ms3 is about 300lbs heavier than the m3 the 1.8 drop for m3 will drop the ms3 to about 2.1" and then add about .5 for it to settle. So I'd say about 2.6" drop but is just my guesstimate. The reason why I'm testing the springs is because I want a ride where it's comfy (like stock) but lower than the mazdaspeed springs (not stock mazdaspeed) and the front lower than the back but by not much like the TEINS springs. Remember all the extra weight that we have on the speed3 is in the front so Imagine what would happen if we use the TEINS?
I believe all Eibachs are lower in the back (by a little) than the front. So, I decided to go with Eibachs since speed3 is heavier in the front. This should compinsate. I am now going to try the pro-kit maybe next week I'll order it.
I know it's crazy doing the trial and error but how many manufacturers do we have for speed3? I don't like full coilvers, I've had them on a different cars and they are stiff even if you only lower your car by .5" it is still stiff bcoz of the spring rate. I'm doing this to help other aswell. Noone really tried to help me on my search so I'm doing it and help some of the guys here!

Do the speed3's come with some quality performance struts(like the MSP's Tokico's)?? Hopefully those springs don't beet up your stock struts to much??

what im saying tho, is that the 1.8" is calculated for the regular 3. The ms3 already came equipped with a sport suspension that is lower. So say its 2.1" drop when compared to regular 3, its probly 1.5" drop from ms3. Still, craaaazy low....

Looks good, pretty damn low lol, And might as well try and see how they work out, I honestly dont see a differnce in the ms3 and m3s strut assembly, so idk we'll learn from you! I know our shocks and springs are better, and I think our shock are thicker, but Im sure other than that no biggys. I agree with the stock wheels though, once you lower a car in general it always makes the wheels look better. Im planning on getting blank center caps and paint matching them to make it look like an aftermarket wheel, and give it a cleaner look. Hows the ride quality with those on there? My plans are to get tein H-techs, they drop 1.1ish front, 1ish rear, and then Koni yellow shocks. Hopefully in another week or two. (dance)

Yeah, it is very low. It rides like a train on the road. You would definitely sacrifice the comfort. Yeah, please do try the TEINS, I want to see the result. Please post the pic here too!
Thanks!

Wow, looks great. But I'd imaginge that those spring rates are softer than the factory MS3 springs, just like the Tein S-Techs were softer than the MP3 springs on the Protege. Since the car is lower it will give you the feeling like you're handling is better than it was (lower center of gravity), but in actuality it will be worse especially at higher speeds. I noticed exactly that when I went from stock MP3 springs to S-Techs ions ago on my MP3. It felt and looked great, but when I took a trip upto Highway 9. I really wanted my stock springs back because it felt like crap in high speed turns. Just a thought.
Anyway, I wish I had a MS3 to roll, but I can't afford one.

Actually before I got the springs I checked the spring rates on these. It is slightly higher than the OEM springs. Almost close to stock spring rate. Which is the reason why I got these.
I wanted the msp then but end up getting the p5. Now that I'm done with the p5 I went and bought the ms3. You still have your MP3?

Is that you, you crazy pinoy? If so, good to see you made it over here. Drop looks good. Let us know how the ride turns out. BTW, weren't you gonna get the rims Grilla suggested?
