Hard Time Getting Into Reverse

So lately I've noticed that it takes a few tries to get the car in reverse. Like for example if I need to back out of a parking spot, I go to put it in reverse but it only goes in half-way. It's as if there's something blocking it.

What could this be? This car is getting on my nerves...

This happens to me somtimes also. What I do it just release the clutch a little bit and it will pop right in.

Thanks guys. The first to reverse thing seems to work. If ever that fails I guess I'll release the clutch a bit and see how that works.

You could also let the car roll a bit.

My grand am used to do the same thing, but i normaly just released the clutch a little bit.
