OK so I'm pulling my old headlight bulb off the white female three prong socket (that's all I know how to describe it) and for some damn reason one of the prongs just ripped off like it was nothing.

Allright, no big deal right? Wrong. I attempted to take some needle nose pliers and pry it out and guess what happens? It popped out but broke the socket.

How do I replace the damn socket now? I looked at the back of it and I couldn't tell if the leads can come out or what. Please help!

Not sure where to get them in the US, but my buddy from the Toronto Protege Club sells these sockets. Actually, they're upgraded heavy duty ceramic ones. As a hint next time, use some dielectric grease on the headlight bulb prongs.

I've read elsewhere to use dielectric grease and will certainly do so next time. In any case how do I remove the stock white socket to replace it? I called my mechanic and he said I should be able to get a replacement H4 adapter from pepboys etc. Do I have to cut it off and splice the wire back on to the new one? Any help would be appreciated.
