Coming to NC... Outer Banks, anyone?

I'll be on vacation in the outer banks with my family all next week. Anyone live out there/nearby? We'll be in Salvo.

I live in hickory, which is actually on the western parts more toward midwest, but if your going through you could check out concord mills mall, which really isnt too fantastic, and thats about it..lol

Go to the grocery stores. Enjoy the FRESH seafood. I swear to god, the food on that damned island is half the reason I go every year. Plenty of little bakeries and dessert shops around, try them all.

Word of advice: Don't go to the Outer Banks in May. Too Cold.

Emerald Island is nice but we go to Pine Knolls down by Ft. Macon. Beaufort is cool too.

That has to suck. My first time down there I got sunburned on the first day and still couldn't tie my shoes for three weeks afterwards.

We aren't going to make it this summer, new house, but next summer we are going to head down. Hopefully without any speeding tickets. Jonosboro cops love out of state plates. (gun)

We either get a house or condo on the beach.
