Ok I looked over in the How To section and found nothing in there on how to replace the brake light bulbs on my P5. I have removed the three nuts from the tailight housing and the tailight seems to be loose but I must be missing something. The upper portion of the tailight on the body side seems to still be held on as if it has some of hook mechanism or something. I don't want to force the light off and break anything.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you.

Just give it a pull. It pulls streight out. You might want to replace both. I just had to replace mine and bought two bulbs and found the other to be very black. Putting it back in takes a little force also. Good luck

There's a sort of pressure clip on the top of the tail light housing. If you can't tug it out use a flat head screw driver wrapped in a towel to pry it out.
