Well I happen to work for a mazda dealership and a few of my techs said you can disable the dsc on this car by holding the dsc button in for 10 secs or so and it disables the dsc no more light or traction control. So i did today hey it worked just thought i would pass it on. There are a few more items im trying to get out of them but no such luck so far.

I posted this a couple of months back, no one seemed to care on this forum. Its interesting that the techs say it does turn off the dsc and traction control. You can also just press the dsc button right after starting the car.

If you do this then what do you do to turn it back on?

You have to cycle the ignition. Best done while stopped.

So does this really do anything different from just pushing the button?
