Well i was driving to the store to get some stuff to do an oil change, when all of a sudden my oil pressure light came on, and instantly I noticed the tachometer fell to zero, and the car slowly came to a halt. I pulled off and checked everything i could think of before calling for a tow. Oil level was fine. My buddy thinks its my timing belt, but I have no friggin clue.

Could be something electrical sence you say the oil level is fine, did it slowly die or just all at once stall out?

edit: he got the problem with castrol, and it was fixed by switching back to valvoline

Died all at once. The car was in gear, i was going about 35. Lucky for me there was no one behind me. Car still turned over, radio worked, lights etc, so i guess im just waiting for the mechanic now

so it still turned over. couldnt be a timing belt then. unless it sounded like a free spinning motion. happened to my prelude, just sounded like something was spinning and not cranking.

start checking everything out, pop the valve cover to make sure its not the t belt

It was a fuse that blew, cuz of an O2 sensor shorting. Super cheap and easy to fix.

i should have known. same thing happened to another member on here. i just totally forgot about it. where was the blown fuse? in the engine compratment or the cabin
