1 Full set of Racing Beat springs. These are the same springs found on the Mazdaspeed Protege and the MP3. They've been on my car for about 2 years now, but have LESS THAN 30,000 miles of them!! They sat for about 8 months as I was rebuilding my engine. They have never been tracked and never beaten. This is a great mod for anyone who wants better handling without going too extreme or spending a ton of money. They're meant to increase steering response and predicable / stellar handling characteristics, without a harsh ride.

Stock Springs:
F: Linear Rate -- 121 lbs/in
R: Linear Rate -- 97.5 lbs/in

Racing Beat Springs:
F: Linear Rate -- 145 lbs/in ~.75" Drop
R: Linear Rate -- 117.5 lbs/in ~.75" Drop

The Mazdaspeed Protege with these springs, set the Sport Compact Car All-Time FWD slalom record at 70.3 MPH with a skidpad G-loading of .89g!

I'll accept PayPal or Money Orders.

$60 - Shipped (obo) -SALE PENDING

Please excuse the mottled look of the springs too... that's just road grime caked on and will not affect performance in any way.

Contact me with any questions...

Dude, those ain't Racing Beat springs (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123668418).

Thanks for the clarification... they did come off an MP3 originally (with about 500 miles on it!), but I was unaware that the terms were not interchangable...

i read this somewhere, forgot where though. racing beat did make them for the mp3, but mazda decided to go their own route for one reason or another and they made "mazda" tuned versions. if i find the link or something ill post it, but mazda made the springs.

oh so thats what they meant by "retuned" when they where talking about the struts and springs. I always wondered what they where talking about.
