WE ARE BACK TO DUNKIN DONUTS parking lot in Woodbridge on U.S. Route 1 North, just south from the dealer. It is across Staples store and next to "Great Indoors" store (Dunkin Donuts is on north bound side but going south away from the dealer about 5 minutes) EVERY FRIDAY NOW AS OF Friday, February 15th 2008!!!

1st part of the meet usually lasts until about 9-9:30pm due to the dealership closing time. Once the dealership closes, few of us just cruise down to Dunkin Donuts (which is 4-5 minutes up the Route 1 north....gotta take u-turn as the D&D is on the south bound side.)

Although meet at the dealership MIGHT be cancelled if the weather turns bad.

I'll be there, at the meet at 7pm.

P.S. looks like its gonna rain pretty much the whole evening tonight

yea we just hang out talk some talk about anything that can come to our minds. We also do have fun runs (Meet and then 43 mile cruise through Pennsylvania twisty roads right on the border of NJ.....next fun run is May 20th...in 11 days).

Also, i bought my car from Open Road Mazda, not Sansone. I think there is an Open Road badge on my hatch and the license plate holders. Do you think they would have a problem with that?

My car is all stock right now, I want to do a lot of things to it. I'd have the mazdaspeed CAI but the stupid thing is back ordered nationwide! I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to cars though, I wasn't really interested in them until I got my speed3. I've been reading this forum almost daily for a while now and I'm starting to pick things up but still don't know how most things under the hood work/work together. I'm very willing to learn though! :)

Anyways, I can probably be there for the next meet as long as they don't mind the badging. I can probably take the license plate things off but I don't wanna mess with the badge on the back, I'd probably make a horrible mess.

debadging is pretty easy. Just put a heat gun to the back and it should come right off. If you really dont feel comfortable taking it off, just have a forum member do it for you. Your car is still pretty new, you shouldnt have any problems with sticking residue. I took my bading off after having my car for like 4 months and it came right off, no heat gun or anything

d&d is the after-party. the way things have been going at sansone with not much turn out yet, we usually all drive to d&d to get our grub on after a few hours (minutes) waiting. i think sansone will pick up once summer and longer hours kick in, for now we meet at Sansone unless otherwise noted then end up at D&D. so if nobody is at sansone thats where we'll be.

It is a fun car. I think it is my 5th or 6th 240 and I am keeping this one. It is stock motorwise. I even have an oem filter in the box.

The suspension and drivetrain are 100% touched. Not one bolt will be undone when this car goes in for work this winter. Every arm will have new poly bushings or heim joints. Swaybars are adjustable rear and front. Differencial will be a 1.5way carbon. The car will be converted from 4 lug to 5 lug and will run 300zx calipers all around and working drum type ebrake.

I used to do a lot of drifting but I am setting this one up for autox now and track events in the far future.

In impulse I would get a speed3 and call it a day for my new daily driver. I currently drive my little Toyota pickup daily and want something to haul the kids on occasion. I am leaning towards the NA GT with most of the options including automatic trans. My wife was stuck in traffic for 4 hours last night and her drive was only 12 miles.

It looks like the extra crowds last year were not beneficial to them in bringing extra customers. plus like Dennis said that Mike is nolonger working there as he was the one pushing them to make the lot available for us. thats just my thoughts on this.

well i went to the shop and because guy's really busy i wont be able to get my downpipe finished till at least mid-september.....at least that's what looks like......also the guy wants to put a CAT on my car.....i think ill get it and then gut it just for the sake if cops randomly will look under my car...

NICE!! On some other good new, the volvo is finally on the road, registered and all. No more trans leak and it actually is running pretty good, so i finally get to give the mazda a rest from making all of the bullshit short trips.

The owner of the place, or so they told me. They said a statey came by and talked to us and had no problem. Then a little while later a new cop came in and told us the owner ordered some help in removing people from the lot. So I guess the owner paid to have a cop come in and remove us. No one was doing anything bad. They then moved the meet to rutgers, but with school coming up they can't be there for long. Will keep you guys posted on the new meet location.

the meet is now held on wednesdays at our old and original location at dunkin donuts parking lot in woodbridge on corner of green street and rt 1. the construction of rt 1 by the dealership and all the dirt and shitty road quality has turned alot of people off from going to the meets at the dealer. meets at dunkin donuts usually start around 7:30 or 8 pm. look at this thread for satellite pics of the current location.
